Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Prezos ("the Service"), operated by LaunchPad Lab ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Prezos is an AI-powered presentation platform that generates on-brand slide decks. The Service analyzes publicly available website content and third-party brand data sources to extract design elements such as colors, typography, and logos, then uses AI to generate presentation content and layouts.

3. User Accounts

You may generate a sample deck without an account. To access full features (sharing, exporting, team collaboration), you must register for an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

4. Brand and Content Authorization

By submitting a website URL or brand information to the Service, you represent and warrant that:

• You are authorized to use the brand identity, trademarks, logos, and other intellectual property associated with the submitted domain for the purpose of generating presentations.
• You are an employee, contractor, agent, or authorized representative of the organization that owns the submitted brand assets, or you have obtained explicit permission from the brand owner.
• You will not use the Service to create materials that impersonate, misrepresent, or create confusion regarding any brand or organization you are not authorized to represent.

5. AI-Generated Content

Content generated by the Service is produced using artificial intelligence and may not be accurate, complete, or suitable for your intended purpose. You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and approving all generated content before use. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy or fitness of AI-generated output.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of content you provide to the Service (including text, images, and brand assets you upload). Subject to your compliance with these Terms, you own the presentations generated through the Service using your content and brand assets.

The Service itself, including its software, design, and documentation, remains the intellectual property of LaunchPad Lab.

7. Website Analysis and Data Collection

When you provide a website URL, the Service accesses publicly available pages to analyze visual and brand elements. We do not access password-protected pages, private systems, or any content not publicly available. Our analysis is limited to extracting design-related signals such as colors, fonts, and layout patterns.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to create content that infringes on any third party's intellectual property rights.
• Generate presentations impersonating organizations you are not affiliated with.
• Attempt to circumvent any security measures or access controls.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.

9. Brand Dispute and Takedown

If you are a brand owner and believe that the Service is being used to create unauthorized materials using your brand, please contact us at support@prezos.ai. We will investigate and take appropriate action, including removing infringing content and suspending accounts responsible for unauthorized use.

10. Subscription Plans and Billing

The Service offers a Free plan with monthly usage limits and a paid Pro plan. Pro subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through our payment processor, Stripe, Inc. By subscribing to a paid plan you authorize us (via Stripe) to charge the payment method on file at the start of each billing period until you cancel.

Automatic renewal. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period for an additional period of the same length, at the then-applicable rate (subject to the price grandfathering in Section 13), until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account billing page; cancellation stops future renewals but does not entitle you to a refund of the current period (see Section 12). We will email a receipt to your account email address after each successful charge.

Applicable sales tax, VAT, or similar taxes may be added based on your billing address. Plan features, pricing, and usage allowances are described on our pricing page.

11. Cancellation

You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time from your account billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain Pro access until then and will not be charged for the next period. After cancellation, your account automatically reverts to the Free plan; your presentations remain accessible, but Pro-only features (including exports and unbranded share links) will be unavailable until you resubscribe.

12. Refunds

Payments are non-refundable by default; canceling a subscription stops future charges but does not entitle you to a refund of the current period. At our sole discretion we may issue refunds in specific circumstances, including accidental or duplicate charges, unauthorized use of a payment method, or extended service outages that materially impact your use of the Service. 13. Price Changes and Grandfathering

We may change subscription pricing at any time by updating our pricing page. Existing paid subscribers at the time of any price increase will continue to be billed at their original rate for as long as their subscription remains active and uninterrupted. If a subscription lapses and is restarted, the then-current price will apply.

14. Failed Payments

If a scheduled payment fails, we will retry the charge for a reasonable recovery period (typically up to four weeks) and notify you by email. Your Pro access remains active during the retry window. If all retries fail, your subscription will be canceled and your account will revert to the Free plan.

15. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless LaunchPad Lab, its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service in violation of these Terms or applicable law; (b) your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property, brand, privacy, or publicity rights; (c) any content you submit, upload, or generate using the Service; or (d) any breach of the representations and warranties in Section 4 (Brand and Content Authorization).

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LaunchPad Lab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to damages arising from AI-generated content, brand extraction inaccuracies, or third-party claims. In no event will our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service exceed the greater of (i) the total amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (ii) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

17. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or suitable for any particular purpose.

18. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

19. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.

You agree that any action at law or in equity arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be filed exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois, and you consent and submit to the personal jurisdiction of those courts for the purpose of litigating any such action.

20. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

21. General Provisions

Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and LaunchPad Lab regarding the Service and supersede any prior or contemporaneous agreements, communications, or understandings.

Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms or any rights under them without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without notice in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of substantially all of our assets.

Waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of our right to enforce that or any other provision in the future.

Force Majeure. We will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, labor disputes, internet or utility outages, government action, or third-party service failures.

Survival. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 4, 6, 12, 15, 16, 17, 19, and this Section 21) will survive any termination of these Terms.
